Jurga und Tomas sind auf dem Weg zu einem kleinen Mädchen, das sie adoptieren wollen. Im Waisenhaus angekommen, stellt sich heraus, dass es ein Versehen gab: Statt des kleinen Mädchens begrüßt sie der 12-jährige Sasha. Dem jungen Paar bleibt nichts anderes übrig, als den Tag mit dem Jungen zu verbringen und sich darüber klar zu werden, was Familie eigentlich bedeutet.

Jurga (31) and Tomas (32) are driving to meet the 6-year- old girl they plan to adopt. Once they arrive at the orphanage, they find out there’s been a mistake. Instead of the girl, 12-year-old boy, called Sasha greets them. Director offers them a single option – either they spend a day with the boy and she will explain the error to the adoption agency, or they refuse and she records their refusal and they won’t get a girl. Jurga decides to accept the offer without consulting with Tomas first. The day becomes very difficult for Jurga– Sasha is swearing, stealing, and smoking. Tom is not talking with her. When it appears that Sasha also knows that he won’t be adopted, Jurga promises to take the boy to adventure park. By the end of the day, all three main characters will need to find an answer to what is a real family.
